Lucidchart is solid for network maps!

Last week, using Lucidchart for Azure infrastructure maps was great, just wish I found a 15% off code.

Smooth experience, helpful support

I purchased the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for my team. The ordering process was straightforward on their site, and I appreciated the clear pricing for the team plan. Delivery, well, it's software, so access was immediate. We had a small issue with setting up SAML SSO, but their support chat was really responsive and helped us resolve it quickly. The quality of both Lucidchart and Lucidspark is solid; very intuitive interfaces. It's been a significant upgrade from our old tools, especially for our remote brainstorming sessions. Definitely helped us streamline some workflows.

Reliable choice for cloud mapping

I've been using Lucidchart for years for various projects, and this time I needed Lucidscale for an AWS architecture diagram. As usual, the process was seamless. I just added it to my existing account. The automated architecture mapping worked great, just like it did last time with an Azure project. It's consistent and reliable, which is why I keep coming back. No surprises, just solid performance every time. It's definitely my go-to for cloud visualization.

So many features, easy to use!

Wow, I just got the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite and I'm loving it! The virtual whiteboards in Lucidspark are fantastic for brainstorming, and Lucidchart makes creating flowcharts a breeze. I especially like the template library, it saves so much time. Setting up the Google Workspace integration was simple too. I will absolutely shop here again for future team needs. This suite is amazing, definitely recommend it to anyone!

Decent tools, some minor learning curve

I grabbed Lucidchart to help with some business process models. It's pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it, though some features took a minute to find. The drag-and-drop interface is nice, and it came with good templates. I was able to export my diagrams easily, which was important for my presentation. Overall, it was a good experience, got the job done. Not bad at all.

Great value with annual billing

I was looking for a good diagramming tool but didn't want to overspend. After comparing a few options, I decided on Lucidchart. I went with the annual billing option and saved 20% which felt like a really good deal. The free trial let me test out the premium features before committing, which was super helpful. It has all the templates I needed, like ER diagrams and network diagrams. For the price I paid, considering the features I got, it felt like a smart purchase. I'm definitely getting my money's worth out of it.

Thinking of moving our team from Visio to Lucidchart/Lucidspark. Is Lucidchart really better for larger projects and collaborative diagramming?

A Anjali 5 days ago ✓ Best Answer
For collaboration, absolutely! Visio is so clunky when you have multiple people trying to work on the same diagram. Lucidchart's real-time co-editing is a game changer for us. No more version control nightmares.

That's what I'm hoping for. Visio's sharing is a pain.

Does it integrate well with MS Teams?

T techfreak 5 days ago
We made the switch last year. Lucidchart handles large diagrams much better, performance-wise. Plus, the template library is way more extensive, especially for things like AWS architecture diagrams. We also use Lucidspark for brainstorming, it's pretty good for agile teams.

Good to know about the AWS diagrams. That's a big part of our work.

I've used both. Visio still has some niche features for very specific engineering diagrams that Lucidchart might not replicate perfectly, but for 90% of business use cases, Lucidchart wins hands down. Especially for cloud diagrams and flowcharts.

P PoojaR 5 days ago
It can import them, but sometimes there are minor formatting adjustments needed.

Interesting. My main concern was if it could open our old Visio files.

Just renewed my Lucidchart subscription and the annual price was a bit more than I expected. Anyone else notice this?

A AmitM 1 month ago
Yeah, mine went up too. I think I was on some kind of introductory rate last year that just ended. Didn't realize until I got the renewal email.

I switched to annual billing specifically for the discount, but it still felt a bit steep this time around. Wonder if there were any promo codes I missed.

Mine stayed pretty much the same, but I've been on a team plan for a while now. Maybe it's different for individual accounts?

Are there any promo codes floating around for Lucidchart or Lucidspark? Looking to get a team plan.

M Mike R. 1 month ago
Discount codes are pretty rare from what I've seen. They mostly do the free trials or the annual discounts. Sometimes if you reach out for a large team or enterprise, they might work something out directly.

A Andre B. 1 month ago
Not really, I think they focus more on the free version and then the annual savings. You get a 7-day trial for premium features though, so you can test it out fully before committing.

I'm trying to decide between Lucidchart and Visio. Is Lucidchart really that much better or just newer?

D Derek 1 month ago
For collaboration, Lucidchart blows Visio out of the water. Being able to work with others in real-time is a game changer. Plus, it's web-based, so no software installs.

I used Visio for years and switched. Lucidchart feels way more modern and the template library is awesome. Also, it can import Visio files, which was super helpful during the transition.

Has anyone used Lucidchart for like, serious enterprise stuff? My company is looking at it but security is a huge concern.

S Sarah 1 month ago
My work uses it, and we're pretty strict about security. They have a lot of controls for identity management and stuff like SCIM/SAML SSO, which our IT department likes. Seems pretty robust.

I Ivy Kaur 1 month ago
I think they focus a lot on enterprise security. I remember reading something about them having features specifically for keeping company data safe. You can probably find details on their site.

Thinking of signing up for Lucidchart for some flowcharts. Is it worth paying for the annual plan or should I just do monthly?

A Andre 1 month ago
Definitely go annual if you're gonna use it consistently. They give you a pretty good discount for that, like 20% off usually.
3
T Troy 1 month ago
Yeah, I did monthly first just to try it out for a project, then switched to annual. Save some cash that way. Plus, if you're a student or teacher, you can get premium features for free, so check that out.
